Broadcast Applications:
When a product needs to be applied to an entire field or area, a broadcast spray tip should be used to ensure good spray uniformity. The best broadcast tips use a tapered fan pattern that is designed to overlap with the spray patterns of the tips next to it. The result is a uniform application of spray across the treated area.

Banding/Directed Applications:
Banding and directed spraying delivers the spray directly to a targeted zone, either spraying the rows directly while leaving untreated gaps between, or vice versa. The width that each tip sprays is the width of the treated band divided by the number of tips spaying into that band.

Totally Boomless Applications:
Totally boomless spraying uses very wide pattern nozzles to cover wide swaths.
These are especially suited for pastures, forestry, rangeland, aquatic plant management, and rights-of-way.

Boom X Tender® Applications:
Some applications require extending the reach of a spray boom to cover field edges and areas where the sprayer boom can not reach. The boomless nozzle must be matched to the tips on the boom and installed so the application rate from the Boom X Tender nozzle matches the application rate delivered by the tips on the spray boom.
